The rate-of-turn (RoT) gyro provides the turn rate of the ship. It is indicated on the display unit or by use of additional rate-of-turn indicators. Rate-of-turn information may also be required by docking logs or stabilizer systems. The system provides two different rate-of-turn outputs, e.g. for 30°/min and 100°/min. This ensures perfect resolution of the signal depending on the situation - docking maneuver or voyage. The installation is easy and there is no regular maintenance required.
